Black & Gold

Metallic Blazer- Foschini/Pants & Shoes- Woolworths/Top- Cotton On/ Lipstick- Rubywoo by MAC

Hi, My name is Kendra and I am the blogger here at Kotton&Silk. I am just reintroducing myself incase you guys forget who I am. I know there has been crickets here on the blog but its all for good reasons, I promise. I will tell you all about it soon, but for now lets stick to fashion.

Many of us think Summer is strictly bold colours, pretty silhouettes and summer dresses- but I beg to differ. I shied away from black and my usual dark colours because I just didn't feel they were appropriate for the summer, which left me with very limiting options. With the weather in Durban not being very "summery" I was like 'What The Hell' and pulled out my usual classic black looks. I honestly have no idea what has been going on with Durban, we have been having rain non stop and the sun hardly comes out to play. Apparently its been flourishing in Cape Town, which might not be such a bad thing because I am visiting the beautiful Mother City very soon. This will be my very first trip to Cape Town,I am so excited!

Question : Full black in Summer. Yay? or Nay?. Would love to hear what you guys think.

XOXO

K

  1. The sun may come out, but I will always be faithful to black- a color that will never go out of style. Ps. I love reading your blog! Keep the gems coming.

I'm certainly not an expert, but I'll try my hardest to explain what I do know and research what I don't know
