Pretty In Pink
I am not into pink at all so this look is kind of a big step for me. I have had this pink top for the longest time and I just didn't have the desire to wear it. While going through my wardrobe, trying to put together a Spring look, I thought this top would be fitting. So here I am, all bright and girly-Ready for Spring. I am keen to hear what you guys think of this look especially because its not my usual colour of choice.

3 Ways To Wear A Dungaree
The old school yet classic dungaree trend seems to make a come back every year, and this year is no different. I have decided to put together 3 simple looks you could put together as it can become quite difficult to constantly find different ways to reinvent this item.
Smart Casual
Pairing a pretty blouse with your dungaree is the perfect way to spruce things up. I love the idea of creating a bit of a smart casual twist to this chilled laid back look.
Casual
This is a cool everyday look for campus, the mall or simply just hanging out with friends. The shirt around the waist look is so on trend and I absolutely love it. I personally prefer the "Denim On Denim" look but if that isn't to your taste, you could also pair a plaid shirt or any printed shirt you may like.
Switch Up
Wearing a top over your dungaree creates the illusion of a pair of boyfriend jeans. I personally love this look because it adds a bit of flair to the overall look. Its just a unique way to style your dungaree. Throwing on a cardigan or a feminine trench coat will do the trick.
Let me know what you think of these 3 looks, I love hearing from you :)

Vodacom Durban July 2014
Durban's biggest fashion extravaganza took place this past weekend at the Greyville Race Course, and boy was it spectacular. It was my very first time attending the Durban July and I am so upset with myself for not going sooner because I had such an amazing time. People were dressed to the nines, I spotted the most beautiful ensembles and some " OMG!! WHAT IS SHE WEARING" looks ( and no, not in a good way). I was partying the night away with my Nokia family at the Jack Daniels Boomtown marquee powered by Nokia. The biggest South African artists and big name DJs such as AKA & Da Les, Micasa, Dreamteam,Black Coffee and DJ Clock ( just to name a few) were all in attendance. They put on a great show and had us dancing throughout the night. After the amazing time i had, I will definitely be attending the Durban July next year,I already cannot wait!

BlackOnBlack
Okay,Okay! I wear a lot of black I know, but I just can't help it. There is something about black that makes you look 10times better ( I'm certain it has some sort of super power). I just love the fit of this long sheer blouse, it flows so beautifully and the opening on the back is a lovely added extra to the shirt. Black is just so classy and slimming, so when you're out of outfit ideas for an outing or an event, an all black look will never let you down. Black with touches of gold accessories are the most perfect combination. I love pairing my all black look with gold accessories. Silver also goes beautifully well with an all black outfit for a classy and feminine look.
I just cant stop wearing black, and to be honest, i don't want to stop. Which colour or item can you not stop wearing? Let me know by dropping me a comment below :-)

4 Ways To Wear Leather Shorts
Its no secret that leather shorts have been trending for quite a while now, so I figured it would be an awesome idea to showcase 4 different ways you could style your leather shorts.
* Leather Shorts- Factorie *
Flirty Feminine
Pairing a buttoned up lace shirt creates a great feminine and sexy look. Lace just has the ability to make you feel sexy and confident. This look is perfect for a lunch date or an event. A loose blouse has the same effect so it would be a great alternative if you feel a full on lace shirt is just not your thing.

Casual Cool
Leather shorts are a perfect piece for those laid back casual days when you are running errands, attending lectures or doing last minute shopping. This is a practical and easy-to-go look that you can throw on quickly, without looking sloppy and untidy. Add a statement piece to this chilled out look such as a printed T-shirt, chunky arm accessories or bold animal print pumps.

Showstopper
You having a girls night out this Saturday with your besties? Or you have an evening event that you are attending? This look is perfect for those occasions. Adding a loose low cut blouse and a bold blazer transforms your leather shorts into the perfect smart casual item. Opting for an oversized boyfriend blazer would be a great alternative.

Sports Luxe
The sports luxe trend is a very popular way to style your leather shorts. I dont usually gravitate towards sporty trends, but I am so obsessed with the sports luxe trend because its a combination of sporty and chic. So even if you're not a sporty girl like me, you will not stray too far away from your usual chic style with this trend because you will be able to find items that best suit your style.

Leather X Faux Sheepskin
I recently got a bigger wardrobe so I have been transferring my clothes from my old wardrobe to my new, bigger one and colour coordinating my clothes. I was flabbergasted at the amount of faux leather items I own. A couple faux leather jackets, faux leather pants, faux leather mini skirts, faux leather pencil skirt, faux leather dress and a pair of faux leather sporty shorts that I just purchased today. *hides*. My obsession with leather is seriously getting out of hand, I don't see it being a bad thing though because leather is timeless and adds such an edge to your overall look.
This faux sheepskin throw is the first faux animal skin item I have purchased and actually fallen in love with. I am not a fan of faux furs because I have a bad case of sinus and I have seen one,two many girls literally fighting off the fur off their lipgloss (disgusting argh). Besides these con's, faux fur can really take your look from plain and simple to Showstopper! This faux sheepskin feels amazing. Its soft and so cosy, perfect for those nippy afternoons. I love how the throw over adds a pop of brightness to the all black look as well.
Do share your thoughts on this post, it would be greatly appreciated :-)

Stripes X Polka Dot
I believe that one should always take risks when it comes to fashion and style. I mean, life's way too short to remain in our comfort zone, don't you think?. Lately, I have been feeling that way too many of us are too concerned about what people say and think of us. We shy away from certain fashion trends and styles because the first thing we think about is "What would people think about me wearing this?". Fashion is fun and shouldn't be taken so seriously. It is a tool to express ourselves in unique ways, we should embrace it to the fullest.
With that being said, I absolutely love the concept of mixing different prints together. It is such a bold look and would definitely make you stand out in the crowd. I had a lot of fun mixing different prints together, seeing what worked- what didn't. I must admit, this trend has the ability to go wrong very easily, so you have to make sure that you pair prints that are appealing to the eye and do not look like you just threw those items together without putting much thought into it.
Remember Ladies: Be Bold. You Were Born To Stand Out, Not Fit In.
